Planning to have hair extensions is an investment, therefore you need to be careful and choose the most excellent way of administration not just for yourself but also with the type of your hair. Having used the clip-on extensions for quite some time, you may want to try something which will be more enduring. Let us admit it; getting to have the service of professional hair experts for your extensions is costly. Thus, getting to know the various ways of administering them is essential before finalizing your choice.

After you have evaluated the kind of hair that you want, the next thing for you to do is to find out how you want it done. By the way, in choosing the kind of hair, do not let the quality suffer for a cheaper price. You can find other varieties which are of superior quality yet affordable. In other words, make the right choice. Going back to how these extensions are placed, its two principal groupings can still be sub-divided into sub-groups based on the adhesive technique used. There is the weft, which is akin to small curtains of hair connected together from the crown and falls down nicely at the ends. There is also the individual strand extension which is quite explanatory because of how it is called.

Handmade or machine made is how wefts are created. What makes it diverse to the individual strand method is that the tresses are put in chunks of hair. The process in the weft method is that small sectors of your natural mane are plaited near your scalp in tracks to which the plaits outline a spot where a drape of hair is to be weaved. This kind of hair add-ons were thought of to lessen the natural look of the mane compared with some. And they say that the reason is that the hair is inclined to dangle in chunks unlike the individual parts of your real hair. This method is also advised for use to those whose hair is medium to thick as the plait can discard some of your natural hair. It is, however, not recommended whose hair strands are very fine.

The biggest benefit you can get from this method is that no chemicals are used in order to fasten the artificial hair to your natural one. This makes removing them trouble free. The synthetic interlaced hair can be quickly detached and the braids can be stiffened or repeated in case it is needed. The hair interlace can be recycled and sewn again to the hair. This indeed would minimize your upkeep expenses.

But as expected, it also has its downsides. The weft can be weighty and put some pressure on your scalp; thus giving you the feeling of tightness. Hair loss and bald areas may also arise. Hair experts recommend this method to those who have thicker hair locks because it produces a lump which is pretty obvious that can be readily noticed if the hair strands are thin. This is the importance of consulting a professional hair stylist first before you finally jump into any kind of hairpiece. These people will also be able to assist you in looking for the appropriate add-ons for your type of hair as well as your other concerns.

The individual method makes use of varied techniques in its application. A few tresses of the extensions is bundled and fastened to the small segments of your natural locks. This can be done by stitching, gluing or clamping using metal rods, weaving in or making use of waxes or polymers. Likewise, they are more natural-looking compared with the wefts as they sway and budge in small segments just like the real hair. Reusing it will depend on the kind of locks you have selected and require a professional to remove it. The individual strands method was proven to be long-lasting. The harm it can give to your own mane is lesser. Since the individual strand method is judged as the best when it comes to durability and realness, it also commands a price. On top of that, there are the upkeep costs as you need to regularly see your hair stylist to keep the style in shape.

These methods of interweaving make use of chemical and foreign material that can actually be very dangerous or less dangerous. It will be a good move on your part if you consult your stylist first so the latter can check the strength of your real hair. As mentioned above, the extensions can strain your real tresses and thus is important to check your own hair’s capability of holding the bonds.

Before finally submitting yourself to an expert for hair extensions, do your homework first by researching the facts that you need to know. Hair add-ons are a welcome breather in your desire to change the way you look and is also perfect for those who yearn for long flowing tresses. And for that, it is important to select the best.

Hair extensions are a part of Egyptian history. Donning wigs has been one of their many ways to make themselves beautiful that does not entail much work.

There are various techniques of hair add-ons.
1. The track and sew. The well-known track and sew method is essentially the weft technique or lacework process. Tracks are plaited in the same direction the way your hair descends as they establish the base of how your hair will look like when finished. With the help of an exceptionally dull tip needle, the wefts are frequently stitched in the braids. There are varied shades of threads which you can choose from to harmonize your hair color. There is one thing though that you need to take care of. Do not have your hair plaited at high pressure lest you want to endure traction alopecia, which is a by product of constant pulling of the hair.

2. The invisible hair plait. This is normally done for the commercial type of hair for which a particular glue is used to bond it aside from the other techniques which are employed in explicit circumstances.

The Origin of hair
Hair sources come from various kinds and all of them are particularly functional to every person. And this is the very reason why a consultation with a professional hair stylist is important before selecting any preference.

It has been the fashion among ladies who are to get married to make use of hair extensions. Using these hair add-ons not only provides them with an added spark but it likewise makes them glamorous on their special day.

I still remember my childhood days when my father would not allow us to cut our hair. My sisters’ and my hair are down to our butt. Long hair indeed has become a fashion and up to this time, there are still a number of women who long to wear their hair long. But growing your hair long means you need to put in much effort and it takes time. With the long list of things to do that keeps you to your feet all day, you barely have time to make such a fuss. So the easiest way to do is to present yourself to the salon and have the micro weft hair extension.

The Advantages of Hair Extensions
Getting your hair long in just a few hours is what these extensions can do for you. Unlike the old wigs, these add-ons will bestow you with a nice-looking hair that is equally lengthy and natural-looking. This is even more advantageous if your hair has started to thin out.

Sporting a Different You
Readily obtainable, human hair extensions come in varying colors and hues to be in harmony with the real color of your hair. The extent, consistency and volume of these wigs are also diverse. With these ample choices, you are guaranteed to sport a different look for every occasion that will make an impact on people.

With a life span of three to four months with no maintenance, natural hair extensions are an outstanding option to keep the “fashionista” in you without so much trouble.

Those who are always looking for a different look can now rest their minds because micro hair weft extensions are here. They have become in fad these days especially worn by teeners because of this reason. Wearing one could really make a fashion statement out of you. The weft comes in two classes and is sewn to the top of your hair. It is very easy to remember the two weft classes because of how they are called. One is the machine weft and it was called such because a machine is used while the other one is hand weft as it uses the hands. But if you are to classify them depending on their quality, you can either choose the remy or the non-remy. Favored by a number of users because it offers unique styles, remy is also known as the unprocessed or virgin hair.

The varieties of micro weft hair.
Widely accepted because they are made to order per your specifications is the handmade wefts. These are made through varied methods. Here are some of these varieties.

The Flat Tracks. This takes an hour for the hair to be fastened, is cheap and does not harm your real hair. What more, no particular equipment is needed in this one.

The Klix Hair. Considered first rate is the standard remy hair intensifiers. Strands are singly interlaced with the use of the hands. Durability-wise, it is rated outstanding and only a small effort is needed for its completion. It is not harmful to your natural hair as no heat, glue, chemical or fusion are used in fastening the hair. Klix hair extensions are removable so you can take it off anytime you want to.

The Keraloc Hair. The natural person’s hair is used in this one. It is similarly strong like the Klix extension as it is fastened by a water resistant seal. Once you decide to take it off, you can still wear it provided it was well taken cared of.

The Glam Hair. This is the best of them all, is a whole lot safer, easier, quicker and more convenient. It is reusable and works flawlessly well for about 4 months. Add to that its being manageable. In fastening the Glam extension, a tape is left on the polyurethane base of the scalp. Do not get alarmed as this does not cause damage on your hair and is healthy to use. Glam hair extenders are mostly chosen by celebrities and other prominent people as they are easier to manage and long-lasting.

Other ways of weft application include the use of glue whereas others some are sewn in the real hair.

The Bonded Hair. Adhesives make it possible for the weft to be tied to your natural hair. Do not be surprised if it will be fastened to the skin. This variety of hair is also faster to be put on and accordingly cheaper. The bonding agent that is used is available in varied kinds which can range from waxes and a few have passed the acceptance of the health care department.

The Braided Hair. Obviously the braid is made by the hands from which the weft is stitched. There is no specification as to the number of rows you need to have; it will all depend on your own liking.

We know for a fact that long hair is the current trend among women. And for that matter, a lot of females have yearned to wear their hair long, but sad to say, they find it hard to let it grow the way they want it to. It was for this motive why more are looking into hair extensions in order to achieve the mane they wanted. With these extensions, it is no longer a big thing if one only has a few number of strands, or almost none at all, and kinky or unruly mane.

Wefts and strands are the two principal kinds of hair extensions. Wefts are done by sewing wefts of hair into a petite plait of your real hair and placed across your scalp.

Alternatively, strands are done by putting in about 20 to 50 strands of artificial hair to your natural ones via gluing, heat fusing, clamping, and weaving or by means of polymers and waxing.

These two kinds of extensions bestow you with remarkable outcome. In just a short span of time, you have long and thick hair the way you have always wanted it. Not only that, these wigs can also complement your natural ones. It can be shampooed, styled and whatever it is you want to do with it just like your normal hair. Changing its colors is not a problem, too. You can also have them curled, although curling is limited to certain types of artificial hair add-ons.

But naturally, you have to maintain it to make the tresses looking good. With that, you will have to visit your hair stylist on certain dates and must strictly keep your appointment. How often you need to visit your stylist and how much you will have to pay will be determined by the kind of wig you have bought. The style of the add-ons will also establish the length of time it will last as well as the harm it can do to your real hair. This may be additional costs on your part but that is the only way to have the extensions for quite some time and have your natural one taken cared of.

The strands are by far the kind of hair extension that creates a good number of harm to your natural tresses which is done by the chemical methods used in fastening them to your hair streaks. By just the mere word chemical means and making use of heat fusion and glue, you can already conclude that the harm is really extensive. A regular amount of maintenance is to be observed for these kinds of hair add-ons although the procedure of fastening it is not that costly. Strands have to be fully repeated every few months. As strands can create so much injury to your hair shafts, they are not the best option to let your real hair grow out when you are wearing them.

Wefts are the best kinds of add-ons. Looking like your real hair, it is fastened from the top and flows freely up to the bottom. They are sewed into small braids taken from your real mane. This method gives a natural effect and hardly can be seen by anyone unless you show them. A visit to your hair stylist every 6 to 8 weeks is needed to take the wefts out and place them back close against your shaft. This is for the reason of making them fresh looking for when your hair grows the braids will be pushed off your scalp.

Wanting to wear your hair long is not hard to achieve anymore. The extensions will do the trick for you and make this dream of yours a reality. However before indulging in such an action, you need to examine your options plus the price. Check on these important details first instead of jumping on the first chance of getting hair add-ons without any further investigation or knowledge. By so doing, you will be freed of future problems.

There are varied ways to immediately alter the length of your hair. These come in the form of extensions such as fusion, glue-in, sew-in, invisible and clip-on extensions. There is, however, among these extensions that stand out – the sew in. It makes use of the weft which is essentially a long strip of hair that is weaved from the crown.

The weft is calculated and trimmed depending on the size of the head. With this method, your natural hair will not be spoiled and in fact, will assist in the growth of your mane.
Here’s your guide:

The materials you need are:
* Hair integration needle and thread
* Hair extensions (the length and color will depend on your choice)
* Small hair ties that will not break easily
* Clear nail polish or a binding material
* Scissors.
* The first three items can be bought from stores selling hairpieces.
The Procedure:

1. Separate approximately ¾ to 1 inch of your hair away from the border of your head to coat the tracks. Be sure to set aside a good amount of hair on the area where your hair will be separated.

2. Make a foundation or a braid sample on your top where you can weave the hairpiece. French braiding or cornrows is used to do this on your natural hair.

3. We go to the French braid. This is done vertically so you need to
start from the top and braid downwards then fasten it using a hair string. Braid all the remaining hair leaving the hair that was separated in step 1 untouched.

4. Now we go to the sewing part. Get about half of the plaited or braided tops from the left side and crease them on top of the right side. Stitched them alongside the braided hair. Do the same procedure to the right side and crease them on top of the left side. Stitched the plaits or braids downwards to make sure they are locked next to your head.

5. We now go to the fastening of the extension, that is, the weft. Get the end of the weft and estimate the amount that will be required. It should be enough to fit diagonally starting from your nape to fully cover the back of your head. Once you have done this, trim the amount of hair you require.

6. This next step is elective. To stop the hair coming loose, some prefer to secure the weft. In order to do this, a sealant or a clear nail polish is used to the weft’s end from where it was trimmed and left to dry. The weft of hair is weaved parallel to the canerows or cornrows from the left or the right side of your head. This is then tied off a thread with a knot. These steps are to be repeated until you get to the crown of your head but make sure to quantify the next line of hair. Bring together the hair that was not braided to wrap the rows when all the sewing has been accomplished.

After doing all the above steps, it is now time to cut, trim or fashion the hair extensions to whatever style you want.
